For some reason I am no longer able to chose the embed image in post option, as soon as I add a file that option fades out and just tthe link at the top of the post appears when I post
That means you are using a wrong file.
The Direct link is what you need.
Which you can choose from under your pictures,(jus left click on the code to highlight it and then right click and copy).
The go to the Reply post and click on the tree and paste the code in the Image box.
The other option is to click the box under the photo,scroll to the bottom and click on Choose action and then on generate link codes for selected.
Then left click on the box that has,Direct link (Email, IM and more).
It will say copied.
Then go the Reply post and click on the tree and paste the code in the Image box,(the image will show in the preview box).
Complete your post and either preview or post,:-D
