I found this plate the other day,the pattern is amazing & quite full.
I know there is a pattern i think is called wagon wheels or such, this pattern is more like a hot air balloon shape. Also has very sml feet & no glow.
Feels old,poss EAPG ?
I have searched through web sites without luck, any idea's!
cheers
Same luck here ๐ Can tell you though that the one I started my collection off with was a Wedding Gift to my late Mum's parents - my Mum was born 1916, think Nanna & Pop were married in 1912?? So BY LOGIC the pattern / item is at least 100 years old now. As we have not been able to find any maker / pattern information either we just call it the "Nanna & Pop Pattern" LOL. I think it was very appropriate for a Wedding Gift as the pattern within the loops resembles church windows. Someone a while back in a listing suggested the pattern looked like wishbones too??
These are just SOME of the plates I have - original one is in the middle. From years and years of collecting 'em, I can tell you that these plates ( with the raised sides ) come in 3 different sizes ranging from the smallest at 13cm diam up to the largest at approx 19cm. There are many different colours too - I have 2 diff amber ones ( light & dark ), a light blue, a smokey colour, plus 2 different greens.
See 2nd pic for some of my other SHAPES ๐ฎ ๐ฎ

YEP - it's old.
Maybe it was unused & "kept for good" in pristine condition like my original "Nanna & Pop" plate was ...... i.e. for special occasion use only.
Hold it up to a good light and see if there are any usage 'marks' on the surface. That will tell you if has been LOVED in it's life.
The one on the left in this pic is interesting...... it has the pattern repeated on the base of the 'pedestal' too. :-x This is a SPESH piece **waves to Granny**
The green one with the metal base is another SPESH piece too ** waves to Wyvern :-x ** My Sister found this back in 2009 & organised it as a Birthday pressie for me. I had missed seeing the listing ๐
