What I've found in JULY!! :-)

A cold miserable day here.  Went to Wenty Park early this morning and bought a lovely Moss dish from a good friend. :-x  Happy hunting everyone!

And here we have the 2nd parcel with the rest of the glass from same seller :_|X-(

Utterly useless :_|

So we have trinket bowl & lid chipped, tray smashed, different coloured items all packed in soft boxes & basic bubble wrap.

Seller has refunded cost of items, but did say would refund total amount but has not refunded postage.

Seller did tell me to keep everything as return postage is alot.

Should i contact for postage refund as well, seems abit cheeky as i get to keep it all, well whats unbroken!

What do you think............

Oh kitty,

That's sad and it's so easy to pack really well if you take the time.....:-(

I'm not sure my little guy qualifies as a 'find' as the OH brought him back from Italy as a little pressie.

( We lost our big dog with the black ears last Nov and he found this 'look-alike' in an antique store over there ):-x:-x

He's a little under 10cm high and has a hinged brass collar.

We think he is an inkwell

Ooops, left a bit off...

Kitty that is just terrible to get two packages from a seller who clearly has NO idea on packing fragile items.  I wouldn't worry about chasing the postage unless it was a huge amount. I hope you leave appropriate FB so others can see who not to buy from. :_|

Sold my Fab magazine collection from the 60's, today, got a fair price, it was really starting to degrade, so, someone else can baby it.  Met two very nice people, locals, bonus.

Oh Kitty that is just dreadful! what were glass pieces? and can you name the seller, I would hate to buy something and have it arrive like that:-( I would be devasted. Atleast you got something refunded, but it should have included the postage as packing was clearly to blame

cheers

Rae

If it's an inkwell, might entice Lyndel to post, she has a new lappy.

Re my broken glass,to be fair i have not asked for the extra postage $20 as i keep the unbroken ones, will sell them on as they really are no use to me know.

My daughter had wanted a nice set for her bedroom when we move or i was going to sell if she didn't like it IRL,she loved it,anyhoo thats the way things go!
