Welcome to SPRING!! I hope it's a lovely sunny day where ever you are. Spring also brings on the fair/fete season which is a collectors delight. 🙂

Thats nice LL,like the shape.
One of my finds all leather, tooled with gold gilt worked box, quite Victorian or Edwardian looking.
Bought it for some of my little treasures to go in like special photo's bits n bobs etc.

That is lovely Kitty, reminds me of the Union cases daguerreotypes and tintypes were kept in. Is it an old one, or a reproduction?

Thanks Rae,i'm not quite sure atm.
Have spent some time on the web searching around for info, found some similar that were old.Found one on here as well.
General similar style, decoration with the same lining material inside.Similar to a velvet.
The top is perfect, the base shows wear as does the lining, the gilt work shows wear to the sides.
So its either been loved & looked after apart from minor probs or a vintage copy??
Looks lovely on an Ebony Edwardian Dreeser i have, prob is i'm going to list the dresser.
Love it anyway,cheers

I have picked up a couple of things this month:
A Wembley Ware Richmond float bowl and lady figure. There is wear to the gilding on the lady, but it was cheap, so I don't mind, I am just happy to find one.
An Art Deco amber satin glass vase, does anyone know the maker? I thought it might be Crown Crystal but I can't find it in my book
I have a couple more things but will have to make another post
cheers

This is a Crown Devon John Peel musical cigar dispenser, press a button on the back and the front drops down and the music box plays. It is for my oldest son.
And this stunning bunch of flowers was delivered on Friday evening by my daughter and my middle granddaughter - it was a lovely surprise - lucky I just happened to have a vase big enough!

Nice finds Rae 🙂
I have a pair of those GORJUSSS "frosted" amber vases. Must have taken me ummmm ??10 years to find my 2nd one. They are not that common. Also have a standard clear dark amber one too and looking for a mate for it 😉
Believe them to be from the Crown Crystal Glass #81 Series. 😉 Compare the crossed-square patterned panels and you will see what I mean.
