help with glass pattern please

I picked up this square shallow bowl today. I know the pattern name is common but I don't know glass and nothing sticks.  it is 24 cms and 5 cms high. What would have it been made for?

It is clear not yellow, that is the lighting. I only bought it because there is no damage.

Don't really know what the pattern is but it reminds me of blackberry prunt though I have only seen the sticky out things round the sides of a round bowl.

Don't really know what it was designed for but I reckon it would look good with cherry tomatoes for a salad, or maybe asparagus.

Not much help am I?

Probably English, made by Davidson. The style and pattern of this dish looks very much like some of the hobnail pieces made by this company.

The Blackberry prunt is the same pattern but this one is all over so Davidson is looking good.
