Hi More information on this one is needed. Condition is all important. Any chips cracks crazing flaws etc affect the price dramatically. Could you uplaod a photo ?

from the very limited information it could well be the 1828 is a pattern number not a date and therefore affecting the price greatly, from an 1828 staffordshire pottery gravy boat worth about $65 to a gravyboat worth about $6.5
