mathew flinders artifacts hms porpoise 1803 ship wreck

 hi all   i have these old nail . they came from a wreck  and a man names ben cropp had them  it has a very old typed letter .and ben cropp 1967 / w now he found the wrek in 1966   donated on them ..would they have any value and would it best sell here or uk  your thoughts would be great ARE THEY RARE

You could contact the Aus Maritime Museum and see if anyone thinks they have a value.

Otherwise perhaps donate them to the museum.

 

I am guessing not much value as it's only the nails.

If it was something more detailed and a specific one of piece of the ship, Captains wheel, figure head, name plaque etc. it would be valuable.

Only my opinion and food for thought.

 thanks mate ..... would a cannon ball  from the ship and aa signed picture from the finder ben cropp  be worth anything ben cropp diwcoverd the wreck and salvaged a cannon ball and a few nails i have them all , thansk any way
