Ebay has never bothered about Christmas before so I feel it is not a very viable suggestion.
As an American company they are very careful not to mention religious holidays.....it is all "Happy Holidays" over there.

It would appear the logo was red to celebrate Christmas.
It is now back to it's usual multi coloured incarnation which I prefer.
Pity they did not tell us their intentions instead of leaving us to guess.
