Hi, this is supposedly ebay review robot and someone I'm not entirely familiar with is showing me how to go through the motions of setting it up. But I'm screenshotting every sequence, then being told to click a certain icon and screenshot and send. I'm at the QR code page now but before I send this i thought I would ask this question. Is this legit? I received a message from ebay earlier saying my account was being used by someone in Australia, but no device listed. To the best of my recollection I wasn't on ebay at 1.15 pm today. The country is correct, but I just would like to know if there's a way to find out the device or ip to verify its me or not? And of course the important part of is this review robot a scam, or hackable?

Worse than any money issue is that by clicking as instructed, you almost certainly give the scammers access to your computer/device, to your financial information, passwords, ID information…

I strongly suggest you stop immediately, close your device, so t Yee it until you’ve had it checked/cleaned by a reputable local computer technician.
