You know, I notice that a lot, that immigrants seem to be the most against asylum seekers. It is very strange.
it's the "Jack" syndrome. As in: "Haul up the anchor, Jack, I'm onboard.

racism is often learnt behaviour, just because someone wasn't born here doesn't mean they didn't learn racism, a lot of the reactions to asylum seekers is based on racism.

I am not so sure about that, I think it's a bit like the bully tag, overused............ and misunderstood. I suspect it is more about being selfish and having no empathy.

How is that? The only people that I have noticed doing that is Jack van Tongeran born somewhere in Europe .
I am an immigrant but in childhood. I'm a bit shocked by what the Abbott government has done to asylum seekers and I hope they pay for it one day.
