I couldn't help wondering why though she wore her habit and promoted herself as a nun when since l960 Vatican 2 I think habits were virtually made redundant.

Icy the Sound of Music was based on a real nun Maria who did sing in the convent. I do know some real nuns who do the same, and play the guitar and dance. I don't share it but their religion gives them joy. But - I dunno, I just thought it was a bit off for that nun to promote herself as a nun on a show like that, though there was a singing nun a few years ago, French I think? And she sold records didn't she?. I think she had a hit Domenique - but could be wrong. .
