I ask again for your source please?....and to point out that I have no particular 'feelings' towards the Russians and I am NOT the one here trying to read any authorities' minds!!!!
....just so we are all clear on this point - would not want anyone to twist my comments out of context

The truth about this incident is all anyone asks for but patterns of revelation and purported facts to date have been misleading and deliberately untruthful.
Since we do not yet have the findings of any investigation, don't you mean "patterns of revelation and purported facts to date MAY have been misleading and deliberately untruthful."

I don't read minds. If you continue to cross examine me on my opinion and get pushy in your continued attempts to twist my words out of context then we 'may' have to adjourn into the Green Room for a cocoa or something.

Paints, I'd be happy to have a cocoa - or maybe a coffee - with you any time. I'm sure we could find things to talk about that wouldn't result in an argument.

The Americans said immediately that the plane lost altitude rapidly and disappeared from the radar in the same time there was something on the radar that was considered to be ground to air missile, and that missile, according to their calculation based on the trajectory, was fired from the rebel territory. All the aviation disaster experts seem to agree that it is most likely what happened; some are cautious and say that without forensic evidence taken from the plane this theory cannot be 100% confirmed. But other possibilities are unlikely.
I just wonder what difference it makes to the grieving families and friends. I also wonder why does TA promise to "bring them all home", which is not something that is likely to happen. Th debris is over 50 -75 square km area in war zone. Unless he is able to comb the whole area, every inch of it , it is very unlikely that all the victims will be found. Not all the bodies are intact.
