Old topic, but just want to know. I have played the same lotto numbers every Saturday night (Qld) for 30 years. It is a system 7, and a MIL (deceased some 10 year ago) tradition. In all of that time we have won probably $200 maximum. Does anyone else consistently play the same numbers for that many years in the hope to win something a little bit significant? Am I just dumb?

Wellll we had a $19.20 or whateva it was auto pick in the 70mill the best we got was 2 numbers. The next draw I still had that old ticket, checked the numbers from that draw on the old ticket and we had 3 x 3 numbers and a supp and a 4 numbers. ![]()

Freddie, never ever check old numbers if you change them all the time. You may get a heart attack one day.
I have taken the same 7 System numbers every Saturday since the year yonks.
When Tattersals started Wednesday draws, my then husband said; "Give it a miss and see how things go first." I should have never forgiven him. Out of the seven numbers, six straight numbers came up. It was not millions then, but I think it was about $17,000.- which was a lot of money then.
I not only have bought lottery tickets, but also lots of Raffel tickets, entered competitions every week, etc. and never won a cracker. So last year I made a New Years resolution not to buy any tickets or enter competitions ever again. That way I can not be disappointed and save my money at the same time.
I was not born to be lucky.
