That's the number of women murdered this year by their partners.
Yes, another woman was murdered by her partner today.
That is the 4th woman this week.
it averages out at 2 women killed every week.
We can talk until we are blue in the face about what a threat terrorism is. But terrorism pales in comparison to this.
And, as usual, todays deaths barely rates a mention in the newspapers. And, as usual, our politicians couldn't care less.

i think you need to be careful if you don't
actually know that for a fact.
perhaps you should have left that out of your
op.

Her partner was found hiding not far away from the townhouse.
He was taken in by the police for questioning this morning.
He was arrested later that afternoon.
But again Julia, the forest. Even if it turns out that THIS man didn't murder his partner as it appears, there are 37 others before her who WERE murdered by their partners.

The counting dead women campaign is counting all women who have been murdered this year. Of the 38 counted to date they haven't all been murdered by their partners but in 75% of cases they did know the alleged murderer.

What action would you like the politicians to take?

Money bushie. It needs money.
Money for shelters.
Money for support.
Money for legal services.
And money for education.
Instead they have taken AWAY money.

And before it provides money, it needs to give priority to the issue.
