BODMAS (Brackets of DIVISION, MULTIPLICATION, ADDITION and SUBTRACTION) - in that order. 6 - 1 X 0 + (2 / 2) = 6 - 1 X 0 + 1 6 - (1 X 0) + 1 = 6 - 0 + 1 6 - (0 + 1 ) = 6 - 1 6 - 1 = 5

7 is the correct answer.

Multiplication and division are calculated first, then addition and subtraction...........
However, when I was at school, we were taught that without parenthesis, you work from left to right......
but maybe my memory has failed me again?

6-1=5 5x0=0 0+2=2 2/2 = 1
yes, I am almost certain that is what I was taught........ if it was in brackets, you did them first.
