Meanwhile,as news filters out re a cabinet reshuffle, the army has prepared itself for Chris Pyne's expected elevation to Defence Minister (for no other reason than to claw back votes in S.A)

He may be good in that role?

OK DH,  Turnbull voted the party  (Abbotts)  line as he had no option,

Your link,  which I suspect has not been researched, would appear  to be  a little flawed,  or like here,  devoid of critical analysis.

As for "And since you are a lover of what people say, here are some beauties"   What???  deflection  perhaps?

Actually I am  "a lover of what people say"  when it is researched,  and stands up to scrutiny, which so far the link and subsequent mention of Turnbull's true voting tendency fails on both counts.

Seriously (worth a try) do you really believe:

Turnbull has: "Voted very strongly against":   "Same-sex marriage equality."

"Voted very strongly against"   "Tobacco plain packaging"

"Voted very strongly against   " Increasing restrictions on gambling

Seriously MM

He voted against, he's changed his position - we all know that

Ooops, actually his position hasn't changed that much, thought he might have more guts!

History of facts is not your strong point, growing weary with age?

"He voted against, he's changed his position - we all know that"

Really?  "we all" ?  What nonsense,  his position has been quite clear,  as was Poor Me's who has always opposed same sex marriage.

I will repeat:   the vote you mention was a Libs directed policy,  wherein  the whole party was directed to vote against it.  If Turnbull had  opposed the party line he would have lost his position as a minister, it also would have made absolutely no difference to the outcome of the vote.

The Age 2012

"Coalition frontbencher Malcolm Turnbull will not cross the floor on gay marriage because he believes he has more value to his constituents if he stays in the shadow cabinet......"

"In a speech, he described those who claim legalising gay marriage would undermine the institution as "dripping with the worst sort of hypocrisy".

Seriously DH do you really believe that:

Turnbull has: "Voted very strongly against":   "Same-sex marriage equality."

"Voted very strongly against"   "Tobacco plain packaging"

"Voted very strongly against   " Increasing restrictions on gambling

Listing a bill's votes  without important context calls into question a site's reliability, added to that is the "support" herein (alsokudosR up.jpg) and thus we have a few ???????.

With Abbotts demise, does it mean we will be no longer regaled with stories of student malfeasance and wall punching in the 1970's?

MM, you ARE being diversionary. I don't care what would have happened if he voted the other way.

You will be hearing plenty of me. I rather like Turnbull

How  can a debate apropos the format and content of a site you introduced be called "diversionary"?

https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/representatives/wentworth/malcolm_turnbull

Some really surprising things there

Perhaps we use different lexicons !

What you post in regards to his vote is diversionary. They subject isn't why he voted it is about his votes. If the votes are wrong, show me please. Then we can move on to carbon pricing etc
