I never click on links or subscribe to anything but my PayPal account was just hacked.
Just to let you all know to check your PayPal account and call them if there are any unauthorised purchases.
Or check your email, I received 2 receipts for purchases I didn't make.
PayPal immediately put a stop on my account and I changed password.
They also suggested I call the bank and put a temporary block on my card which I did.
Someone purchased an expensive camera tripod and stun guns using my PayPal and having them sent to Russia.
First time this has happened to me but PayPal were terrific.
I also reported the ebay listings as they appear to have been hijacked.
Sure, but these are actually from PayPal.
They used my PayPal account to pay for items.
The only thing I can think of is possibly one of the computers at work is effected with some sort of key logging virus.
Will be checking them all.
Or they have hacked into PayPal and accessed some passwords. Maybe not many to keep it quiet for as long as they can.

I'm glad you got onto it quicky, but they alreeady did some damage. Will you get your money back?
the first few times I got emails saying I'd purchased something I hadn't, I just logged into PP via eBay to check that I hadn't. Now I just delete those emails as soon as I get them

Same here, I just delete the fake ones. But these were actual PayPal emails.
They had made the purchases but PayPal hadn't debited my account yet so managed to stop them without losing any money.
