Not sure what does it has to do wit pacifier, I am sure just kissing babies on their mouth, licking the spoon while feeding them or any other way of exposing them directly to whatever bugs the parents have, as well as letting them crawl around the floor, is a good way to prime the baby's immune system. Other research shows that kids that have grown up with animals (pets & farm animals) have less allergies.
