I went to a Roller Derby game on Saturday night. One of my friends is in the local team. They actually won this one by scoring 3 points in the last 8 seconds of the game... It was so close!

I got a surprise visit from the in-laws this evening.

Well it wasn't a surprise to them, they knew they were coming.

It was a surprise to me because I got the dates mixed up and thought it was next monday they were coming to say.

Fortunately they gave me a couple of hours warning so I was like a headless chook running around cleaning, shopping, making beds, flapping my arms and muttering expletives

I hate wedge-heel shoes. I think they're very unflattering. They've always looked like buit-up shoes to me.

My Grandmother had one leg shorter than the other due to a childhood accident and had to wear a built-up shoe to stop her lurching from side to side.

I relented a few weeks ago and bought myself a pair. Wore them once, hated the look.

Anyone want a pair of size 10 wedge-heeled black suede shoes?
