My true husband died from melanoma nearly 10 years ago, I get a shiver just reading/hearing the word.
He was 32 and we'd been together for 16 years, still miss him so much.

Why do young people stick their tongue out or pull faces at the camera? I don't get it.

Apparently there's going to be a new Opera House Lottery to fund clelebrations for the 40th Anniversary. The Danish Royals have been invited.

Struggling to raise enough money to build the Opera House, the Cahill government opted to establish the Opera House Lottery No. 1 in November 1957 – running 496 lotteries that raised $105 million.

Tickets were £5 each with a first prize of £100,000, according to Tatts's website.

The NSW government sold NSW Lotteries Corporation to Tatts Group in 2010 for $1 billion."

I have been out enjoying the fresh air. Took the dog for a walk in the park. Then headed to Mount Field national park. Got our new pass. Had a lovely walk there. Then up to see the snow. So hopefully I will sleep well.
