I do not support Australian companies who advocate islam and islamic sharia law. I am Aussie and support Australian values first.

You harp on about Australian values and supporting Aussies yet you go out of your way not to buy Australian made.

It would make MUCH more sense to support and Australian company over a dodgy German one.

I WILL NOT buy from Australian companies that support islamic sharia law. In fact I wont buy products from ANYWHERE that support islamic sharia law.

Australian dairy producers using the halal symbol do not support islamic sharia law anymore than they support Kosher law or the 10 commandments.   They are only interested in making a living or making a profit.  Australia has developed a huge export market into countries in which people purchase halal or kosher foods.  Large new factories, employing dozens of people each work on export lines, due to an increase in sales to various parts of the world inhabited by muslim people.

You are confusing criminal terrorists with muslims and Islam. The entire muslim population are not terrorists, nor are they ever likely to be regardless of what they eat.

Good for them if they want to put islamic sharia law compliant notices on their products but I will NEVER buy their products!

You just keep right on  climbing that moral high ground, UFO. One of these days it'll lift you off this planet and up into outer space where you can frolic to your heart's content among your beloved aliens - I bet even the tall, blonde, Sacandinavian looking ones have never so much as heard of Halal or Sharia law. Smiley LOL

What a laugh, Donna, you picking on foreign investors like Aldi and Costco!

Where do you source your products for resale from?

Made in Australia?

Yeah right!

What an odd thing to say, last time I looked I was selling on a Global platform. I don't pick on foreign investors, my comment was that choice and the race to the bottom on prices was fair to complain about.

If the Australian supermarket chains are sourcing imported produce to compete with aldi and costco then it does affect us all.

To take it home you have to pay $15.99/kilo. Most families wouldn't be able to pay that much for a kilo of cheese.

ppl generally buy gourmet cheese by the gram.

I don't care how nice the Australian cheeses are. If they are dedicated supporters of islamic sharia law either publicly or secretly I wont be buying their products. Australian companies have a choice, it is up to them if they want my business.

At least I know that Aussie bacon and ham is not halal. 😉

With cheeses I have to go and buy overseas products or to local cheese makers on small farms to source non-islamic products.

You would be hard pressed to find Aussie bacon in the supermarkets.  70% of processed pork products are made from imported pork.  But I guess supporting Aussie farmers isn't high on your agenda given your irrational stance on Halal labelled products.

at that price it would be gourmet, methinks. Maybe not. I never buy cheese in large amounts so I'm just guessing.

What I meant was, it's rare to buy a whole 1kg block of cheese unless you're catering for a large gathering or run some kind of business.
