So, The snorting warhorses of labor foamed at the mouth and rolled their eyeballs trying to bring down a decent honourable man, all the while sitting on a sleazy Rudd donation that was illegal and they only moved after the electoral commission asked twice for their accounts after the election.
What's changed under shorten?? nothing apparently, sleazy business as usual
Will they stand down their ministers and back benchers when they are called before the Royal Commission into union corruption??
They left Thomson in place, Gillard protected him for "a long long long time" her words, they encouraged him to stand up in parliament and slime everybody for his own action, the lies were bountiful and even after ejecting him from the party still accepted his vote and paid 350.000 legal fees for this person?
When will they pay that back to the workers?
The corruption still emanating from NSW Labor has now infected a good man but Dastayari is sitting pretty in the Senate along with all the other cronies who moved into federal parliament to wash themselves clean of the corruption they wallowed in in NSW and every other state:
THE Labor Party is taking urgent action to unwind a secret $200,000 donation, from a Taiwanese-born businessman, which it believes was arranged in breach of electoral laws for Kevin Rudd to conduct campaign polling on the eve of the election.
The massive donation from developer and former banker Kung Chin Yuan was paid into the then prime minister’s Griffith electorate branch bank account on September 3, allegedly without the knowledge of state Labor officials who are legally responsible for campaign contributions.
It is also alleged that the money - believed to be one of the biggest single donations in the federal campaign - was moved out of the ALP branch account within hours of it being paid from Mr Kung’s bank account in Taiwan.

A little different to the current LNP carry ons.
The money needs to be returned because it came from a foreign bank account. However, the donor is a long term Griffith resident and business man who regularly made donations to the party. Had those funds come from his Australian bank accounts instead of a foreign bank account, then all would be well.
Just because the donor is Taiwanese, does not make the funding illegal.
The source was uncovered during a routine internal audit and moves are being made to return the funding. Hardly a secret funding deal.
Despite what the Murdoch papers are insinuating, no member of the party has done anything illegal.

Off topic.
Waiting for the OP (or friends) to mention Cormann's mention of "hyperbowl" this morning. OK for him to make a mistake but not OK for a Labor person?
