Barack Obama has made references to his daughters during political speeches.  Some of those were reported to have embarrass the girls. He was accused of using that as a strategy.  Pffft!!   He did/does that because he is a proud father.  I see absolutely no problem with that.

That was exactly the message.  He is proud of his daughter.  He made a reference to our greatest asset - our children.

I havent received personal messages or phone calls from any of the candidates.  I'm a little bit sad about that.

Who will I vote for?  I actually consider that a personal question.  Sorry.

I had a pre recorded phone message...It was a recording of Tony Abbott telling me the name of my local lib candidate ...there was a pause where name of candidate must have been inserted .Nothing personal in that nor is a personal message to our household by name  relevant or necessary imo .

I'll bet that Pres. Obama did not comment on his daughters' looks, whether or not they were "hot".    That attitude belongs to a long past century --- when women were valued for their looks ONLY.

Well I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that I didn't vote for that dill.  He's probably a nice bloke and loves his family no doubt but he is NOT PM MATERIAL!

ummmm.....ok.........not sure what that has to do with anything....Who said their daughters were "hot"?  I have to admit, an unusual way for a father to refer to his daughters as "hot"

presented as proof ?

his daughters appear to be nice looking young women  ....and of course he may be proud as many parents are of their children .Have they been permitted to speak aside from speaking at the the welcome speech at the Liberal Party Launch ?

Have we heard anything much about them as individuals ie; do they work,study ,what do they do ? Would we hear about that if they were not attractive young women ? If they were young men ? In absence of hearing from them or him (as a proud Father ..) about those things what is proud of and wanting us to know about his daughters and what seems to be all too important ? 

We don't vote for a PM on the basis of having nice looking daughters ....that  isn't something that makes him PM material

Yes, very recently.  Louise is overseas (cant remember exactly were....Geneva??? but dont qoute me on that) His other daughters study.
