couldn't you just die?  so embarrassing.  I cannot believe that people will vote for him and yes you can say you are voting for the party not the person but for this guy to be our PM, the thought of it makes me feel ill!

Both Rudd & Gillard performed very well on international stage and both are well respected o/s.  Abbott cannot get out more than 3 words without pausing and/or saying something embarrassing.

I can't see my life changing much, regardless of the outcome tomorrow.................. I do see it being harder for my children though, in some aspects.

I don't see it as embarrassing at all. He's a dad proud of his daughters. and that's nice to see.    If any other dad said that anywhere

he'd get a smile.  No I'm not an Abbott supporter but this was such an innocuous comment.

it wasn't an innocuous comment...it's a plus for a future PM to have 'not too bad looking daughters'....lol

He is on our money and he was promoting/selling himself as our possible future PM to the people in the big brother house (who remain politically clueless while in the house) .

So were the other political leaders promoting themselves on BB.  The only difference, Abbott spoke to them on a more personal level. It was not the only thing he said.  It was one line to finish his talk.   The housemates did comment on the lack of such personal message from Rudd.

That was exactly the message.  He is proud of his daughter.  He made a reference to our greatest asset - our children.
