Yes, sorry John. You're right about the structural separation bill being passed in 2010. 

I should have been more concise with my comments. 

They may have been, justifiably forced to seperate. They were not forced into the NBN agreement. 

One thing you keep overlooking in your defence of the HFC network is that of the roughly 3 million who are passed by it only about a third can actually access it. How are those people to be serviced if the HFC instead of NBN is left to cover those areas?

 not flying wing for anybody, FN doesn't require any assistance from me. i was pointing out a different matter.. the fire sale that funded costellos surplus that included telstra. you love it because of personal investments, but for the country it was a bad move.
