People need to be reminded that LNP has been fighting tooth and nails not to have royal commission into banking I wonder why?   Possibly all owning shares in financial institutions?

just about every case of a pollie getting into trouble and either dropping from a front bench to a back bench or worse still forced to leave politics all together has been leberals in the past 10 years.

we have seen leaders of liberal parties resigning several times from being caught out doing things lets say if not criminal, unforgivable for someone in the highest office.

we are seeing liberal MPs saying stuff 'under protection of parliment' you and i couldnt say in public. the latest only in the last few days.

There are very few share owning Australians who do not have shares in a financial institution.....a lot of Mum and Dad share owners only have shares in financial institutions due to the demutualisations over the years.

I received a small parcel of shares when St George building society became a bank and added to them by dividend reinvestment.  They then became Westpac shares when St George was taken over.

Similar situation with NRMA....I now have a nice ittle parcel of IAG shares.
