Adam Goodes Vs the spreaders of hate

We have people spreading the hate for everyone from the PM to the disabled and refugees everyday.

Today we have Adam Goodes, who truly lived up to his name.

 Okay so a dozen was a tad over exaggerated.

 No more so than the assumption that everyone that boos him is a bigot or racist though.

he may not get more free kicks but he definately sooks for them alot, over dramatising the situation to make it look like he is hurt when he is not.

Is he a bad sport?  How did he win best and fairest if he is

I think he has changed a bit over the years. He did use his "elite player" status to humiliate, single out and eject a 13 y/o girl from the stands, thats an example of poor sportsmanship according to some people.

So he was supposed to know the racial abuser was 13 even though she was rugged up and in a grandstand.  Should have superman eyes.

Why was he not booed before the AoY award?

I think it had something to do with him calling Australia day, Invasion day maybe.

Racist reason.  Many aboriginal people and other Australians refer to Australia Day as Invasion Day because that day celebrates the day their lands were invaded.  

Why was he not booed before the Racism stope with me campaign?

Maybe because people didn't know before the campaign how strong his views are on how racist he thinks Australians are.

Anither race based reason.  He should not take pride in his origin for fear of offending the rest.  He lives with teh recist undercurrent everyday. Who are we to insist it's not true?

Why was a considered a good sport and good player for 10+ years prior?

I think he still is viewed in that light by most people. He just seems to behave differently onfield in the last couple of years. It's rubbed some people the wrong way. He incites and provokes the crowd alot more. 

Yes, we do get upset when people speak out instead of pretending all is good.

and I think the truth is he is a sook 12 months ago he stated the boos did not worry him and it is quoted above now his team is losing and his form is poor all of a sudden the boos worry him

She's hardly a little kid. She's the size of a full grown human and a mouth that shouts abuse that she's learned from those of influence in her life.  Someone had to teach her about racist name calling because it's obvious her family didn't.

If anyone has seen the video, the kid is difficult to distinguish from the adults around her. She was huge. And when she was escorted out wasn't much smaller than the boofy security guys taking her out.

SHE DID NOT KNOW IT WAS A RACIST REMARK,(there's plenty of info out there to check).

It was because of his facial features with the beard,(that's why she called him that).

She told him that and if he had handled that better then none of the boo-ing might have happened,(until

the imaginary spear incident).

So will he now "back" off or find some other way to antagonize opposition supporters,

If he's going to do "stupid" things then he should direct them at his own supporters,(they might not "retaliate").

Who knows it may have been a deliberate attempt to goad someone into saying it,(after all he was quick of

the mark knowing who it was).

I don't watch TV except for the sports and weather and I can't stand the guy for his grandstanding and his

attempted intimidation of rival supporters,(I have never heard his speeches and didn't know he was named

AOTY until someone mentioned it).

I thought his War Dance was magnificent, he really is a superb athlete. I don't think he thought it through and the spear throwing action towards the crowd was divisive.

I think it has gone on too long with the booing, it's un Australian and offensive and has now become a cattle call for dumb racists.

Adam Goodes can easily defuse this by being more inclusive and to stop calling the race card which he has unfortunately done a lot  rather than taking the country with him in a reconciliation way, he has the platform for it.
