here in wallaroo my temp guage is saying 44c outside, just took foo out for a quick bathroom break and it feels every bit of that!
luckily the airconditioners working well and we have had no power outages. (touch wood, head)
i do hope others are having cooler weather for christmas.

Hazelwood power station is still working.

it takes about 1 minute until you stop thinking this is ok to this is quite warm really.
another minute and i'm saying now is not the time to be fussy about which bush you use foo.
another minute and i'm saying please foobie, this bush will do ok!
then he says ok this one, does his biz, then we come back melting as we go.
then it takes 10 minutes to start thinking inside is good.

63% humidity
i only have evaporative airconditioning so high humidity kills its efectivness
ive got 27c inside so its not too bad.
just did another look, temps dropped 2 degrees since we went out, looks like thundery change is on its way.

We had 27c also here West of Sydney, in aircon.
It was very pleasant.
It makes me wonder at the fortitude of our forebears to celebrate a Northern European Christmas in the heat of the Antipodes.
