ABC 2 have been running a series 'conspiracy road trip' . the episode last shown focused on the conspiracies surrounding the events of sept 11. its well worth a look.
Other conspiracy theories are also open to examination, and the illuminati based theories are quite easy to poke a few holes in if one stops and considers a few things for a moment. a good starting point would be the concentration of wealth myths that make up part of this story. if you look at who is actually holding wealth today you find Gina Rinehart, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates among them. Mark Zuckerberg (?) is another. these people hold one thing in common, being that the money is all relatively new. hardly a conspiracy that goes back to Adam Weishaupt's time you'd agree ? it puts the illuminati story in a context of the alleged control of wealth being a long continuous plan that is ongoing into the dubious basket i think.
