My thoughts have been graviting towards viral loading from airborne pathogens and the stress levels of the mortal coil - nothing new here , but in view of the current crisis am wondering whether during some times of the year might be helpful to reduce what ones body has to deal with.
Thought at first UVC air filter would be the way to go - and while effective and with the additional peace of mind rendering positively inactive - seems common HEPA filters are just as effective in removing target viruses as a threat

It's not like we live forever..........however I have read that unlike flu Covid-19 leaves at least some survivors with on-going health issues
I haven't heard that. Can you remember where you got that from?
That would definitely be interesting reading. Especially given the virus hasn't been around long enough for even medium term issues to have become apparent. Or testable.

one must read between the lines - death is from multi-organ failure , which implies for serious cases in which the patient survives means reasonably some organ damage and most likely long recovery time
If interested you can start here but is a little out of date 14th
word on the street is that pets are being culled ( or dead ones being gathered up ) - with quite a few mobile crematoriums in use now

Few days back I have seen the break up in China stats (from memory)
around 80 000 infected
about 2 000 dead
aprox. 5 000 in critical condition - with vital organs failing
and only few thousands considered cured and sent home from hospital
I wonder how many of the people in critical condition will die later, and how many of those that survive will have permanent organ damage? Kidney failure? Liver problem?

I wonder too.
Publish the numbers, or it is speculation.

Lots of people recover, I get heaps of rashess and Hay fever but never get a cold or the Flu.
Sun block is the worse for me, never come across one yet that does not give me a rash
to quote under US fair usage "A total of 634 people from the Diamond Princess have tested positive for COVID-19, the Japanese agency said. More than half that number are identified as "asymptomatic pathogen carriers," meaning that while they don't show signs of the illness, they can still transmit the disease to others or become sick themselves."
