French woman found living with dead mother
Even living with someone is no guarantee that you'll get to the morgue before you start to smell...
Poor ladies, both of them. The one still alive must be in a bad way and not dealing with the loss very well, eh? and the mum who is yet to be allowed to rest in peace.
Hope they both get what they need now that someone does know the situation, and whilst it took years, at least this one didn't take 8 years to discover and it wasn't the result because no one cared.
At least someone cared for the deceased, At least she wasn't alone.

The avi's are so small now it is hard to see the image.
Just the colours really, at first glance, they look similar.

yes. she sent the building's cleaner (who also does our building) up to knock on the door. He says its' all ok there's no bad smell .omg
WTH? did he actually see the person and speak to them? Just because he can't smell anything doesn't mean the person aint dead

Yeah I know. But you see how it is?
There is a brother of the man's living local somewhere. Wouldn't he know? Wouldn't the other tenants in the block know?
The bathroom window has been left open. Wouldn't you close it if you went away?
Another neighbour in another adjacent block of units was dead in her apartment for 2 days before she was found by a neighbour.
My neighbour is wary of calling the cops in case it's a false alarm and they break down the door and all for nothing.
I'll follow it up and let youse know

the police would rather find it to be a false alarm, than to find a half liquidifed body

Turns out our neighbour had a heart attack and had been in hospital for 3 weeks. He's back now but still looking very pale and thin according to my downstairs neighbour.

Good news that the gentleman is still around albeit not too good. Your neighbour must have visited him or is he venturing out a little bit?
However, this has been a reminder to us all. Keep an eye out for our neighbours' wellbeing. Let us be community minded.

Glad to hear he is ok. Your friend needs to tell him to make sure someone in the flats knows if he goes to hospital again.

If you are hauled off to hospital in an ambulance you don't exactly have time to notify anyone of anything.
