I know that these two young men were stupid but the other thread will gone by the time I get up in the morning.
Yes, they knew Indonesian law and yes they were young enough and silly enough to ignore it. They are grown men now and they are reformed.
Can we please help save them? I don't know how which makes me feel sick. So sad to see the mother and brother crying and saying that her son needs to be saved for a silly mistake when he was hardly more than a kid.

Why do you think your friends sons are any better than the people awaiting execution?
Nobody forced them to use any more than you say nobody forced these people?
They all made a silly mistake, including your friends sons.

It serves no purpose whatsoever to execute any prisoner.
It is not a deterrent. It bankrupts humanity.

Its not a requirement to agree with the laws of any country, but you do have to abide by them when you are there or face the consequences.

I am not in favour of the death penalty for any reason.
I equate it with the same argument about euthenasia................. people think that is humane and empathetic, much better to encourage incarceration as punishment.

In USA in Indiana there is a man that has been in prison for around 28 years.Since he was 13 years old.Since the age of 15 he has been in an adult prison. In a cell for 23 hours per day .The other one hour is an in exercise yard alone. So basically for all those years he is alone in a cell.Day in day out.He has 40 years to go before eligible for parole. The only people he sees is guards .Surely death would have been better than that.
For him, yes but punishment is what he was given, not a better way out.
Euthanasia is promoted as a kindness. Can it also be a punishment?

Sanford has chosen life. Obviously he disagrees with you.
