Another School Shooting in the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Gun Nuts".

(KVAL,KATU) ROSEBURG, Ore. – Emergency crews are responding to a deadly shooting on the Umpqua Community College campus Thursday morning, an Oregon State Police spokesperson said.

The Oregon Attorney General's Office has confirmed 13 dead, up fro reports of seven to 10 people are dead earlier. At least 20 people were wounded in the shooting.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown has confirmed that the shooter was a 20-year-old male. The Douglas County Sheriff said the shooter was killed while exchanging fire with first police on scene.

Douglas County Fire Marshal Ray Shoufler tells CNN there were multiple patients found in different classrooms, and law enforcement had the shooter neutralized when he arrived.

Shoufler said 11 were transported by ambulance; two of those victims died at the hospital, and one other was flown to a trauma hospital.

Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg has received nine patients.

A school official told a reporter shots were fired at Snyder Hall. The official said the school was locked down.

People are being asked to stay away from the campus.

Douglas County Sheriff's Office has said that students and faculty are being bused to Douglas County Fairgrounds and can be picked up there.

I think when you mentioned that everybody knows Bush is a cretin you opened yourself up to  a differing opinion.

You brought politics of the left into it so why hasn't Obama done something about these massacres? he has executive power, he can garner support, he's had many instances where he could, after the Sandy Hook massacre and many others but  he does  nothing. He blames others for his inertia.

 He's rather be jiving around the world looking cool, trying to conjure up a legacy like Global Warming to leave behind because he sure has nothing else.

NSW Police have confirmed that a 15-year-old boy was the lone gunman who shot dead a police employee outside the state's headquarters in Sydney's west. 

The teenager shouted religious slogans before firing one shot in the back of the head of a police finance worker as the employee was heading home on Friday afternoon. 

The police employee has been named as Curtis Cheng, a 17-year veteran of the police force. Police say the shooter is of Iraqi-Kurdish background and was born in Iran.

NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione confirmed the shooting was politically motivated and was linked to terrorism, but the teenager acted alone.

The shooting took place outside the State Crime Command in Parramatta, home to the state's homicide, drug, Middle Eastern organised crime and gangs squad, located near a primary and high school. 

It is understood some members of the gunman's family had just returned to the Middle East. 

Mr Scipione said the gunman then remained on the street and was acting "aggressively" before he was shot and killed in a shoot-out with special constables responding to the initial shooting.

Footage of the incident was captured on security cameras. 

"An employee of the NSW Police Force has been callously murdered here today," Mr Scipione said on Friday night. 

"This is a very sobering time for us ... I can tell you that this was a brutal crime. It was a terrible crime."

Which is a totally fair point goldenjet.

But it's the bigger picture that concerns me. Which is disarmament of the American people. Which in it's essence has very little to do with  getting the guns out of the hands of crazies and criminals.  If America demands a gun amnesty it's not the crazies and crims that will hand in their guns, but the innocent, responsible gun owners.  And thats a big problem imo. FTR I'm not a pro gun person, but I am for the right to protect youself and your family against tyrants and those that seek to do you harm.
