Whoever wrote that article is a terrible writer. Why would he leave out a crucial piece of information? Which is...why are the Hammonds having to report to prison?

Is the OP the writer of this article? Possibly. Because calling a protest where there are no hostages and not a single shot has been fired is a far cry from a terrorist attack.

I thought you put in the wrong link, but no,  it's the same story.

How is a protest march and a group of militants occupying

a wildlife refuge a terrorist attack?

This is why the Hammonds have to report to prison   -

We have a small wildlife park in my home town if I discovered that  a group of armed  militants had marched in and  seized control of it I don't think I'd be checking their ethnicity or religious beliefs before calling them terrorists.

A terrorist uses terrorism, yeah?

I have to wonder about your use of the word.

They have occupied a wild life park - no hostages, no guns,

no threats to any life.

Where's the terrorism?

I did not read the article in great detail but what I garnered was that

they are simply farmers trying to drive home a point IMO

Not here to argue, just flummoxed by the use of the word terrorist

in this context

But , as you were.

I'll just go back to my smiley faces......................................where I'm more comfortable

Oh, so you were looking out your window and saw these people marching by and thought they were terrorist when you wrote the OP?

Ok, my bad.

She ele did you actually watch the video in your clip?

They don't sound like terrorists of any description

The report stated that they did not know if they were armed

Sounded an awful lot like the problems that the cattlemen

of the High Country have been having for a few years, here in Victoria.

They have grazed their cattle in the high country for generations

and then the Govt told them they couldn't anymore.

Back and forth with different governments over the years.

Richo would probably know more about it than me

i.e. - (but not the full story, by any means)
