CONTROVERSIAL anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has revealed that a new party defending western values will be launched in Australia.
In a Youtube message, Mr Wilders said he would visit Perth next year to help launch the
Australian Liberty Alliance, which he described as a freedom party.
“Many of you are disappointed with current political parties and have had enough of politicians who sell out western civilisation,” he said.
Mr Wilders, whose Freedom Party is popular in the Netherlands, was the subject of rowdy protests by far Left groups when he toured Australia in February last year.
His views were condemned by several political leaders and in some cases he had to find new meeting venues when worried hosts cancelled bookings.
His visit was sponsored by the Q Society, an Australian “Islam-critical” group which is organising an international seminar this weekend in Melbourne.

if even Muslim clerics are afraid that legislation re the incitement to terrorism might apply to their Koran, then doesn't that give you pause for thought?
BTW, have you read the koran? . . . any of it?
Why do you assume that only you have read the Koran?

Have you ever asked any Muslims whether they believe Allah is calling on them to kill every Non Muslim in Australia?

I have read some of it - a Muslim Lady sitting beside me on a train.shared her copy with me when she saw me trying to sneak a look over her shoulder. The pages we read together were all about families - and the duties and obligations of family members towards each other. It lead to a very interesting discussion on the nature of families - and never once did she suggest that she ought to kill me for being a christian.

because so many people here seem to offer an opinion about islam and Muslims that I think it is a legitimate question to ask and a relevant one, especially where discussion of womens' rights under islam is concerned.
I never said or assumed what you assumed that I assumed. 😉

It is good that you have at least read some of it ele. I would recommend to you that you read all of it sometime and not just a few lines pointed out to you by someone who has a bias; that bias being that you take from it a positive opinion.
My personal negative opinion of Islam stems from extensive reading of it, warts and all.

She didn't" point them out" to me - she was reading them herself and I was craning my neck to get a sneak peek - all she did was move the book over so I could read it with her.

One could get a pretty jaundiced view of Judaism from studying the Old Testament. Have you asked any of your Jewish friends how many witches, nonbelievers or homosexuals they've killed lately?

I don't actually have any friends who are of a religious persuasion of any kind.

One could get a pretty jaundiced, not to say antipathetical attitude towards all three of the Abrahamic religions, just by reading their scriptures.
Then, when I go out and look at what they do, in the name of their religions the horror and revulsion only increases.

I have often seen you ask that question................. and it comes across that way to me, a little arrogant and assuming that no one else can possibly understand it the way you do.
Maybe I am mistaken, hope so.
