CONTROVERSIAL anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has revealed that a new party defending western values will be launched in Australia.
In a Youtube message, Mr Wilders said he would visit Perth next year to help launch the
Australian Liberty Alliance, which he described as a freedom party.
“Many of you are disappointed with current political parties and have had enough of politicians who sell out western civilisation,” he said.
Mr Wilders, whose Freedom Party is popular in the Netherlands, was the subject of rowdy protests by far Left groups when he toured Australia in February last year.
His views were condemned by several political leaders and in some cases he had to find new meeting venues when worried hosts cancelled bookings.
His visit was sponsored by the Q Society, an Australian “Islam-critical” group which is organising an international seminar this weekend in Melbourne.

no we don't need hate, but we do need politicians who are not afraid to protect our culture and way of life.
I'm all for tolerance towards other races and religions but i do believe they should fit into the culture of the country they have adopted, not turn that country into whateer unsatisfactory to them place they left.
well I would love to witness the speech given to newcomers that insists they "fit into the culture" and "way of life" when no one seems to know what that is, it all must be very confusing.

“Hello, everyone. This thread is getting a little off-topic & interpersonal. Could we please bring the discussion back to "Anti-Islam party to contest next election Australian Liberty Alliance". Thanks!”

This might help answer your question Boris ?
Australian Citizenship pledge
It is important for all Australian citizens to understand our responsibilities and what it means to be a citizen, whether we are Australian by birth or by choice. It is a critical part of building our nation.
Most people are required to make the Australian Citizenship Pledge at a citizenship ceremony. In doing so you are making a public commitment to Australia and accepting the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship. Learning the meaning behind the Pledge will give you a greater understanding of what it means to be an Australian and the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship.

anyway. if one were to vote for the
Anti-Islam Australian Liberty Alliance,
it would be a wasted vote as they wouldn't win one seat and would naturally preference the liberals who wouldn't act as it would cost them seats. a good number of them would think this party a deplorable group anyway. one MP , Josh Frydenberg was outspoken about this issue in respect of Ed Husic when he was sworn in as some elements criticised the use of the Koran. Frydenberg with his heritage is well aware of the dangers of religious intolerance.

The Australian way of life and culture. As quoted by Ms Gillard "We are us". lol
I think asking what the Australian culture is and what it means to be Australian is not a little provacative.
If you are Australian and born here and you don't know ???

An Australian doesn't need to be born in this Country.
Are there any Australians of Islamic faith reading this ? .I would like to know how you as an Australian feel about this ...I can only imagine how it may make some feel

gillard was brilliant. ''We are us'' is probably the most inclusive way of putting it. because myself i'm not Australian in any meat pie kangaroo and holden cars kind of way. yet my family have been in SA since 1841 . there is no blanket 'australain way'' one can throw over everyone here. the last principle that was thought to identify us ''the idea of a fair go'' was thrown over the side of the Tampa.

I fail to see how asking what some demand of newcomers coming to this country do as in - follow our way of life and fit into our culture - is provocative - if some want this of newcomers why not simply explain what it means?
