Any Ipswich (Qld) people about?

We are possibly moving to the Ipswich area next year, and have a daughter getting ready going off to high school in 2016.  I'd love to hear some recommendations on high schools in the area, (state or private, single-sex or co-ed).  Thoughts?  TIA

I am an ipswichian 🙂 happy to answer your questions.

There are a few high schools in Ipswich that fall under all categories

Bremer High (Public) - is connected to the University on QLD and has some linking courses between the two.

Ipswich High at Brassall -(public) Less than favourable reputation but I have friends and family there who says its a good school none the less.

St Mary's - Private Girls only

Ipswich Girls Grammar School - Private Girls only

West Moreton Anglican College - private co-ed

Ours is starting High School in 2015 and will be attending St Peter Claver private co-ed school.
