I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.
The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

Oh what a long day of nuffin'. I actually had a partial jarmie day.
The ancestors muddled themeselves up and I had to spend time with Ancestor.com.. but we sorted them..

Isn't it interesting when you hit some of the royalty because of all the records you can find.
You sound like someone else I used to know zany. She was a Great granddaughter on Queen Victoria's side and a descendent of the First Fleeters on the other side.
My people are still pouring out of the woodwork - I just can't believe how many there are.
I can now go back to about 200AD and 60 greatgrandparents... it's mind bogling. Mind you, I keep a pinch of salt in my mind as I think of the number of kids who may not actually be the father's child, or were adopted and never told... so many anomolies can occur.
I know of twin boys - now in their 40s whom I happen to know are actually half brothers. Yes, two fathers, but the mother was coming off the pill and ovulated twice.
It can happen. Of course the twins don't know this and would only find out if they were DNA tested.
