In my view there is a vast difference between passionate debate (heated discussion) and interpersonal dispute.
I agree that interpersonal anything should be given the chop but discussions that adhere to the rules of debate and address the issue are NOT interpersonal in their nature
Without debate society would still be in the cave.
Moderators may I make a suggestion? ............Thank you.
Do not be too hasty in your judgement as to what constitutes an "Interpersonal Dispute".
In a lot of cases interpersonal disputes are veiled so as to appear innocent the do not get the proper treatment that they so richly deserve. I realise that Lithum moderators are only noobies to this site and are not aware of the forum dynamics as yet, let us hope that the learning curve gets accelerated as time passes.

I didn't say that I wanted no moderating and I agree with Pepe - it needs to be more realistic.

Nice to see you back Lakeland 🙂 have you been out stopping the boats?

I've noticed it's always replies to the same few people that cause my messages and post removals. Usually within a very short space of time. I try to avoid replying or conversing with a few posters. It goes bait/banter, bait/banter, bait/banter, ignore, ignore, reply with banter and bam.

Sorry if I sounded a bit abrupt, boris. Everyone needs rules, boundaries, but they need to be realistic. What is considered to be interpersonal is open to interpretation and needs to be clearly defined. As it is, anything and everything can be deemed to be interpersonal.
Lithium are doing a much better job that Liveworld did but they could lighten up a bit.

It appears that some posters can post loads of nasty posts directly at others and those posts stay while any of the same given in return is reported immediately and the poster punished.
