Don't you love the headlines? I just read another article titled The Australian Navy fires shots at asylum seekers.
It continues: Indonesian authorities are reporting that Australian navy personnel may have fired shots as part of their operation to stop the boat from reaching Christmas Island.
I'm sorry, I know I am repeating what has been said over and over here about trusting our media reports.....
Try elsewhere - where are the headlines?

Do some research Poddster on why people arrive without passports.

Why would the Asian media care about what happens to a small bunch of people that aren't even citizens of their own country when they have hundreds of thousands looking to get placed in another country?
Not sure why it would be reported in Asia.
