I am, I wonder whether the girls had a touch of stockhom sydnrome or whatever it is called????

 

Do men suffer with that condition I wonder?

Stockholm syndrome, yes all hostages tend to suffer from it.  But I think in this case the girls are just glad they do not have to go to court, and he did not want the possibility of death penalty.

Part of the reason for the "Stockholm syndrome" is that nobody is 100% bad or 100% good.  Even the most despicable perpetrator of a crime has some redeeming qualities, and if someone is with them for years without no other influences, there is bound to be a little affection for them, deserved or not.
