Sources tell us that the nipple censoring was the result of an overly nervous fill-in producer on the program last night.

Would you want some variety?
His works all look rather too colourful and adrenaline pumping, imo. Some balance required.

I agree, acid colours not my thing, you see a lot of this stuff in souvenir shops.

I like lots of different art styles, except dark, depressing ones with bleeding bodies. I love trees and Australian landscapes and Australian birds.
One of my favourite unusual landscape style is by Jeffrey Baker.

Don't like the Picasso either, not for that money, but everyone to his own. That is how artists can survive, because everyone has a different taste.
I love my families paintings. Cost me nothing to hang on my walls.

BTW did anyone see the recent film about Turner - Mike Leigh's latest starring Timothy Spall ? Verrrry interesting.
Watched the ABC programme yesterday on Jeffrey Smart. I too like his work very much - alleyways and down-and-out Depression tones of colour.
I have a few prints in my "gallery" among them : George W Lambert, D'Arcy Doyle, Rembrandt, Reynolds, Chardin, Vermeer, etc.
My very favourite - the rapid sketch drawn with very thinned oil paint - The Mlle. Eglantine's Dancers (later used for Posters). Such movement and character. It seems he was drawing as quick as the girls were kicking.
