Not many others do get mail everyday, which is why Aust Post is considering these changes.
If you get bills online you can still print them out.
mmmm, so they say - more like just getting ready to privatise yet another one of our services.

"Letter volumes have fallen by more than 25 per cent from their peak in 2008, from 4.6 billion five years ago to 3.6 billion last year, and could disappear completely within the next decade, putting the role of the iconic mail man in jeopardy."
"could disappear completely within the next decade"
So why put the mail mans job in jeopardy now? I know when my postie rides up the street, he is stopping at near every house. I know cause his brakes squeek so loud you can hear everytime he stops

it's a furphy to suggest that we need to sell off Aus Post or start charging for mail delivery, overall AP has been making a profit, just softening us up for the sale and making AP a more attractive proposition for the buyers.
Bill Mitchell, professor of economics at Charles Darwin University
Mitchell also argues against privatising Australia Post. In remote areas the post office “becomes a hub for social activity, for caring and hearing things. For regional Australia those things are really important.” AP is a public corporation that is astutely run and has positioned itself well in new markets, he says.

2 or 3 people getting mail everyday doesn't mean every household in Australia does.
It may be difficult to understand but not everyone lives through their computer.
