I don't feel comfortable with the 2014 Australian of the Year, Mr. Goode. I just can't help feeling that if he could not handle the rudeness and bad manners of a 13 year old girl without crucifying her on most forms of social media to make a political point of his own, however justified is concerning. I wonder how he will handle interjections and comments he finds offensive during his term of office.

Lol! He caused the incident by crying racism when it wasn't there, when he realised his error he made placating noises to save his own image, yet never acknowledged he was wrong.
that girl is still considered by many to have made a racist slur.

Patronising gesture. Many others "help" the Aboriginal cause in so many ways, with varying results.

"Who chooses the winner?"
The NADC is generously supported by the Australian Government through the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
