My friends 11year old son was brought up with manners, the autism has no baring on that.
He may not look you in the eye and say it, and certainly no hugs of gratitude but manners are important in life.

It is not something learned by osmosis like regular people - it is a learned process and one which requires a specific thought pattern to take place.

Please stop generalising.

In your case with your particular person who is on the spectrum, what you wrote may apply. It does not apply to all people who have Autism.

I really feel for people who suffer Asperger's. There is a regular on CS with this condition - it's so obvious and I'm really embarrassed for her Woman Sad
