hahaha Bushy
JV easy peasy -
Lemonade Scones.
3 cups sifted SR Flour with a pinch of salt.
1 Cup cream
1 cup chilled lemonade.
Pre heat oven to 220C 200C fan-forced
Toss some flour on a biscuit tray (dust off any excess)
Sift flour and salt into a bowl - make a well in the centre
add the cream and lemonade. Using a round - bladed knife
kinda cut and mix the ingredients together.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Press dough into
a 3cm thick round. Using a 5.5cm round cookie cutter - cut dough
into rounds (I get about 9 large) Place scones on the tray toughing
that helps with them rising. Wipe the top with a little milk.
Bake for 15-20mins or until golden.
Fresh cream and strawberry jam - nom nom nom
Avoid scales for 1 week.
