On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.

I think it can be difficult on both sides (with and without cancer), to know what to say. For me, it's certainly easier most of the time to talk about my own condition.

I remember in the past just totally freezing up as to what to say to others who were ill.

I do agree that a key issue is to remember we (cancer patients) are all different.

I do want to say that everyone here has made me feel very welcome. Thanks.

I don't think there are magic words ... but for sure humour is a great thing.

And, questions are good. So is sharing experiences.

But, biglol, it's not all about me, and I really love hearing about your daily experiences.

On mushrooms (sorry if I have said this before), if you fry them domed side up at first, then switch to domed side down, you end up with a slightly crispy edge, and some juice in the bottom of the cup.

I told Gordon Ramsey this a while ago, but he hasn't answered my email. Must be annoyed he didn't think of it first, eh?

Over the years-lots of ill folk on here and some still are.

Can be age related or just .the luck .or unluck of the draw.

I admire your fighting spirit and sense or humour-think that helps....

Sharing on here with others with a history of cancer and treatments must help.

but worth thinking about.

Bloke i worked with lived on a dairy farm all his life.

Reckoned he watched cows eat every blade of grass in a paddock-

-even under the mushrooms-said if they are not good enough for cows-humans should not eat them .lol.

Kitchen arvo for me-ran out of handouts and food parcels--was on a roll .lol

Just a few ..feeds in advance.
