I had a suspicion Iโd need a drain snake / drain brushโฆ
โฆ but is the vodka for me or for the drain?

I use this: https://drainclean.com.au/
Usually it works for a while...

Both... The vodka will give you more strength to use the drain brush, and you might pour a bit into the drain too, maybe singing a bit (if it is not in the middle of the night).

I am not always online because I am still working and sometimes I am too tired when I go home.
By the way, I think that "Where is everybody" is the pilot episode of "The Twilight Zone"...

I have had this for years - works a treat.
But - careful - learn to use it - it can flick - so tighten the screw always.
It has the length to go way down.

Not that brand, and much more expensive in red

Red attracts a premium. I know!
(Iโm going to have another go at it with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar that I must replenish tomorrow. Itโs still somewhat clogged - it drains but not entirely satisfactorily.)
But I will probably grab the drain cleaner device as well.

Kitchen drain?
Sounds like 'someone' has been putting oil/fat/grease down the drain.
Leave the bicarb and vinegar sit for 20 mins Countess before pouring boiling water down.
