Yes, I am conscious it is the testimony of the male, ian, that she didn't direct the plates to anyone in particular. But I am aware that it often falls to the women to do the serving, as it did here, so I suspect Erin had her own plate tucked away in a corner with the 4 finished plates at the ready.
She probably didn't have to say anything, she probably just nodded to the 4 ready meals. We don't have the women alive to tell us the exact state of play at serving time.
She would fit 5 on one tray and hers would have been on another. I presume they weren't that big. I bet she had some special mark on the pastry top of her own as well. or she should have, if she had any sense.
But I have come to the conclusion that the woman was nowhere as bright as people claim. In fact she wasn't bright at all. And yes, the 6th one could have been for Simon had he decided to come.
Another particularly silly plan. He had already had an unexplained gastric upset a year earlier and hospitalised. How many times did she think she could do it and get away with it?

Has been pouring all day - and predicted to get worse overnight - winds & flash flooding.
Stay safe NSW.
Dreary here in Melbourne all day too. Luckily no flooding expected where I live, but I was so glad to get home tonight. It's a great night to be home with the heater on and all cosy.
Here's our drive way at about 5.15pm tonight, shortly before it was fully dark.
I took the photo to show to my sister, who is in England but due home Friday. Just to show her the delights in store.๐

And on a completely different note, here are some pics my sister sent me.
I was chatting a day ago and said-if you get time you could always visit our grandfather's last known address before he left England.
His address on the 1921 census was this place in shrublands ave, Berkhampsted.
So on a whim, my sister and her husband decided to go.
I was so pleased to see these photos, most particularly the one with her in it.
My grandfather didn't own this house, he probably rented a room. He was young, single and an unemployed farmer.
My sister reported the village is really lovely with lots of coffee shops and restaurants in the main street.
I guess it got her off the beaten tourist tracks. I meant to visit this house last year but we didn't master the public transport system.
It was 32c over there. Locals were melting in the heat but my sister said it was just a normal sort of summer's day.

No one can help you if you are suspended.
Answers on your other thread have already told you this.
