Kess, like Sandy, I have a Kindle, love it, all my books are on it, sold the real ones (that will give Richo a laugh), all my music is on my ipod, sold all the CD's. My ipod plugs into my stereo so I don't lose sound quality.
Purple, hope you are having a better day today. KK you take it easy, pace yourself, it will still get done and you won't be hurting so much. I haven't forgotten you Beani, hope you are ok....life is too short to let others upset you.

Well, they've updated the forecast to 16 - actually, it was quite a nice day for a walk. Took both the dogs so have to wait while the one off the leash smells every leaf, tree and post while the cavalier pulls like made. You could say I was getting pulled in both directions 
. Had to put Bo on the lead when we reached the park as there were a few off their lead.

Good post Linda. Have you finished packing yet? At this stage I think I had the bare necessities left.
I am making this lemon meringue slice I'm trialing but I don't think I will be making it very often. Altogether it has 9 eggs! Just as well we have our chooks. Plus, I made the pastry and had to refrigerate it for 30 mins. Then I lined the slice tin and now I have to freeze it for 20 mins, then I have to line it with baking paper and rice and blind bake it for 15mins. Just as well I haven't got a lot to do - haven't got to the filling or meringue yet.
Best go and light the oven - it's nearly time. Bye

I decided not to take any pain killers this morning, but have
now had to take them as my mouth is aching heaps.
I still have the ulcer on the tongue although it is all white now,
instead of red, and it is not hurting.
I am only having icecream, that is what the dentist suggested
tomorrow I can eat more.
Hope everyone is having a good day, nice & sunny here, just
a bit cool.
I am off to have a rest, will pop back in later.
